Renovating a bathroom in a flat or house with a clear access plan
For flats, tell us which floor the bathroom is on, whether there is a lift and any information supplied by the building manager. For houses, we assess access and the existing room at the site visit before preparing your quotation.
What goes into your quotation?
The site visit is the starting point for agreeing the work your room needs. We discuss the layout, the products you are considering and the condition of the existing bathroom. The written quotation describes the agreed work and makes clear which materials and products we supply, and which you purchase yourself.
You can choose your own tiles and fittings or ask us to supply them. If you need a separate designer, we can recommend one, with their services and fees agreed separately.
Planning work at your property

The individual address and proposed work matter: a postcode or neighbourhood name alone is not enough to identify all property requirements. Access, deliveries and any relevant building information belong in the planning conversation. Any necessary permissions and responsibilities need to be clarified for the particular project; they should not be assumed from a general area description.
Budget and timescale
Allow around £15,000–£25,000 as a total budget for a complete bathroom renovation, covering labour, building materials, tiles, bathroom fittings and finishes. Products you buy yourself are part of this total. This is a planning range, not a minimum spend or a fixed quotation. Room size, layout and product choices affect the cost. Tell us your budget so we can discuss what is achievable after a free site visit.

We prepare a written quotation after a free site visit, rather than treating an installation-only figure as the cost of the whole renovation.
Bathroom renovations typically take 2–4 weeks on site, depending on scope. Preparation, ordering and the start date are discussed separately. If you intend to live at home during the work, tell us which facilities will be available so practical arrangements can be discussed.

BathWright has £2 million public liability cover. Our renovation work comes with a 12-month written workmanship guarantee, with the scope and terms provided in the project documentation. This is in addition to your statutory rights; product warranties are separate.
